What can I expect?

A weekly video series published privately to participants only that will lead you through a journey from your starting point to maintaining and improving your physical performance.

Each video will use creative visual tactics to convey the relevance of the objective to everyday health and of course skiing.

At the start, the focus will be more on body recovery for skiers. Then building towards reestablishing that BOMB PROOF base which of course will be a huge asset for conditioning in any sport and for life in general. .

Cool. BUT…Why start this course now then?

It is not uncommon after a full season for there to be a few tired muscles and body parts. Of course, for some that may include between the ears from perhaps a bit of overtraining.

Being intentional this time of year about targeting muscle imbalances and effective recovery routines can make a HUGE difference to how the body recovers and sets up for next year.

Besides, why not get the benefits of feeling like you are ready for any adventure by investing in your fuel tank to get out and play! It doesn’t hurt either it will help you stay on routine and rock that swim suit with a little more confidence!

It’s more fun that way!

Also, it helps stay on it.

A group chat will be set up to discuss and dive into how the routines are going.

What is included in the program?

A multi day group strength, cardio and mobility program that be more and more individualized and ski specific as the course builds. Demo’s will be provided during the video. The workouts will be separate from the video time.

The individual part will be based on the basic training notes submitted weekly. Feedback from the training log will allow each participant’s plan to develop slightly different.

Time commitment

Following a consistent training plan takes time. You will get out of it what you put into it. The time will be slightly different depending on where you are starting from and your invidual goals. Be prepared to put in the following time as a minimum…

  • 3 cardio workouts of at least 20 minutes each

  • 3 strength workouts that will take 20 minutes + each.

  • Mobility work intermingled in there throughout the week as well.

  • Of course the time to watch the video for the objectives of the week. The video length will be a learning curve. At this point learning towards effective, concise explanations and avoid too much boring rambling. Likely short series of small videos of less than 10 minutes.

Support

You will not be on this journey alone! Each week when you hand in your brief training notes you will receive feedback on how to continue steering it to work the best in your case.

Of course, as mentioned there will also be a group chatter on going for those active in this course. That will allow you to have a network of others striving towards similar goals.

Equipment

No you don’t need any equipment. I pride myself in being a bit of a dork and finding house hold items, body weight ways for exercises to be done effectively without making my clients go out and buy a bunch more gear.

That being said, equipement is not a negative thing if you happen to have it already etc. Let me know at the start of the course what you do have and I can help you make the plan work best for you with what you have.
